Another way to solve this problem in the meantime is to re-release the same player picks at the same odds for players who originally didn't complete. In this way, players still have a good chance of packing TOTY Messi, which is fair to every player who missed out on SBC.

The publisher has never addressed what the issue with player selection is, but there appears to be another bug in the description of player selection.
